You opened Lovable. Now what?

Every Lovable builder hits the same three walls. Kaizan Clarity knocks them all down before you type a single character.

Problem 01 The vague prompt problem

You type something rough. Lovable builds something half-right. You spend hours rebuilding what a better prompt would have gotten right the first time.

Problem 02 The sequencing problem

You don’t know which features to build first or in what order. You add integrations too early. Everything breaks. You start over.

Problem 03 The integration problem

You get to Stripe, Supabase, or Resend and have no idea what to do. No one told you what to connect, when, or how.

Prepare your answers in advance for a faster, more detailed session. The more specific you are, the better your outputs.

  1. What’s your app idea? Tell me what it does in 2–3 sentences, and where the idea came from.
  2. Who needs this app most? Describe the specific person — their role or situation, and the top 2–3 frustrations your app solves.
  3. What 3–4 features does your app absolutely need at launch? And roughly how many pages or screens do you picture?
  4. Does your app have a name yet? And how should it look and feel — colors, mood, and any apps whose design you love.
  5. How will this app make money? Think about who pays, how much, and how often.
  6. Are there 1–2 apps similar to yours? And when are you hoping to launch?
  7. Answer yes, no, or not sure: user accounts, payments, email/notifications, SMS, file uploads, maps, AI features, admin dashboard.
    • An interactive checklist appears — just select Yes, No, or Not Sure for each.
  8. Is there anything the app should NOT do? Features to avoid?
  9. What’s the moment when a user thinks “this is exactly what I needed”?
  10. Kaizan Clarity shows a preview of your 5 documents and asks for any final notes. Click Generate when ready.

Viability Assessment
App: TaskFlow — Freelance Project & Invoice Tracker
74 /100 Overall Viability Score
Market Need 85

Freelancers are consistently underserved by tools that are either too simple (spreadsheets) or too complex (Harvest, FreshBooks). A focused, fast alternative has clear demand.

Technical Feasibility 82

Core features — auth, time logging, invoice generation, Stripe payments — are all well-supported in Lovable. No experimental dependencies. Straightforward data model.

Monetization Clarity 71

Two-tier pricing ($12/mo, $99/yr) is clearly defined. The free tier with 2-project limit is a reasonable hook, but the conversion trigger from free to paid needs sharper friction at the right moment.

Competitive Differentiation 58

"Simpler than Harvest" is a positioning claim, not a moat. Your real differentiator is the instant-invoice magic moment. Build the entire product toward that 3-second invoice generation experience.

Key Insight The instant invoice moment is your story. Every feature decision should ask: does this get users to that moment faster?
Product Requirements Document
App: TaskFlow — Freelance Project & Invoice Tracker
1. Problem Statement

Freelance designers and developers earning $50K–$150K/year manage 3–10 active client projects simultaneously using a patchwork of tools — Google Sheets for time tracking, Word for invoices, email for client communication. The result: unbilled hours, missed deadlines, and invoices that take 45 minutes to create.

2. Target User

Primary: Freelance designers & developers, ages 25–45

Managing 3–10 active clients simultaneously
Currently using spreadsheets + manual invoicing
Earning $50–$200/hr, losing 2–4 hours/week to admin work
Wants something simpler than Harvest or FreshBooks

Pain priority: (1) Invoice generation time  ·  (2) Missed billable hours  ·  (3) Deadline tracking

3. Core Features — MVP
Project Dashboard — all active projects, deadlines, and outstanding invoices at a glance
Time Logger — start/stop timer per project, manual entry fallback
Invoice Generator — pulls logged hours, generates PDF in one click in 3 seconds
Client Directory — contact info, rate per client, invoice history
+ User stories, technical requirements, user flows, launch timeline, and open questions in the full document…
Prompt Build Sequence
App: TaskFlow — Freelance Project & Invoice Tracker
Prompt 1 of 9
Foundation & Design Shell
"Build a web app called TaskFlow for freelancers. Design direction: clean and minimal, dark mode with a near-black background (#0f1117) and teal accent (#2dd4bf). Typography should feel calm and organized — similar to Linear or Notion but simpler. No decorative elements.

Set up the navigation with: Dashboard, Projects, Clients, Invoices, Settings. Create placeholder pages for each with proper routing. Do not add any features yet — just the shell."
Prompt 2 of 9
Project Dashboard
"Build the Dashboard page for TaskFlow. Show: (1) A summary row with total active projects, unbilled hours this month, and outstanding invoice total. (2) A project cards grid — each card shows project name, client name, deadline, and a progress bar. (3) A ‘New Project’ button that opens a modal asking for project name, client, deadline, and estimated hours.

Use mock data for now. I will connect the database in a later prompt."

Tech & API Integration Guide
App: TaskFlow — Freelance Project & Invoice Tracker

Your confirmed integrations: Stripe  ·  Supabase  ·  Resend

Stripe Setup

Purpose: collect $12/month or $99/year subscriptions.  When to add: after your core features work — never first.

Step 1 — Create your Stripe account. Go to stripe.com → sign up → complete business verification. Use Test Mode during development (toggle in the top-left of the Stripe dashboard).
Step 2 — Create your two products. In Stripe Dashboard → Products → Add Product: "TaskFlow Monthly" at $12/month and "TaskFlow Annual" at $99/year. Copy both Price IDs (starts with price_) — you'll need them in Lovable.
Step 3 — Add to Lovable. Go to Integrations → Stripe. Paste your Publishable Key (pk_test_... for development). Add the two Price IDs. Never use your Live key until launch.
⚠ Common mistake: using your Live API key during development. Always use Test keys (pk_test_...) until you’re ready to go live.
+ Supabase database setup, Resend email configuration, environment variables checklist, and deployment order in the full document…
